
UNI/PdR 192: the reference practice on work-life balance. What it covers, why it was created and what changes for organisations adopting it.
UNI/PdR 192:2026 introduces an organizational model dedicated to work-life balance, aimed at helping organizations build more sustainable workplaces focused on people’s wellbeing.
The path covers several areas: support for parenthood, help with caregiving commitments, work flexibility, corporate welfare, physical and mental wellbeing, work organization and services for families.
The practice stems from the Family Audit experience of the Autonomous Province of Trento and proposes a structured management system based on measurable goals, KPIs and continuous improvement.
It also integrates naturally with UNI/PdR 125:2022 on gender equality, strengthening the inclusion and work-life balance policies already in place in organizations.
